Spa
Etiquette: We strive for perfection and do everything to ensure that you have an enjoyable experience. Therefore, please make note of the following information: ● Scheduling: Providing privacy to our guests in the spa is paramount, therefore overcrowding is not acceptable. Treatments are selected and reserved specifically for your needs, based on availability. We recommend making reservations in advance to assure preferred times. Spa packages with multiple services and multiple guests wishing to receive services at the same time should try to book appointments a week or two ahead of time. Of course, we are happy to except daily appointments upon availability. If your usual therapist is not available at a convenient time for you, please feel free to book your appointment with another therapist. Experience a fresh approach! ● Appointments: A credit card or gift certificate number will be asked for to secure your appointment. We ask that you arrive 15 minutes prior to your scheduled appointment to allow time for check-in and preparation for your treatment. If you arrive late, we may need to shorten the duration of your treatment accordingly so that subsequent guests are not inconvenienced. ● Cancellation: In order to best accommodate your requests, we require a 24-hour notification for any changes or cancellations for single treatment appointments and 48 hours notice for multiple treatments (packages or groups of two or more people) - otherwise a 50% cancellation fee will be charged to your credit card or gift certificate. We regret that a lack of any notification will result in full billing of your scheduled services. Therefore, please make every effort to notify us early if you cannot make your appointment. Booking an appointment is acknowledgement of these terms. |

Preparation: We do not recommend shaving any body part 24 hours prior to any body treatments. We recommend that men do not shave their face the morning of their facials. If you are getting a waxing service, you should refrain from shaving at least 7 to 14 days prior. Waxing cannot be used as a hair removal method if you are currently using Retin A (or if you have used it in the past 3 months), Accutane (currently or in the past 4 months), if you are sunburned, if you have recently visited a tanning bed or have recently experienced a laser peel. It is not advisable to drink caffeinated beverages before a waxing treatment. Do not sun for at least 24 hours after a waxing treatment. All treatments are performed in private rooms. Disposable underwear will be provided for body treatments. Wraps will be provided for facials. If you having a massage, please disrobe to your own comfort level. The therapists will drape your body with sheets or large towels and only expose the part that they are working on. However, if you prefer to leave underwear on, go right ahead. Allow your mind to calm down before your treatment. Busy thoughts will not be conducive to you fully enjoying the treatment. Take slow, deep breaths before your treatment begins. Envision every muscle in your body relaxing, turning to mush. Start with your face and work your way down to your toes. Allow your body and mind to enjoy the experience. Fully be in the moment. Before and during your massage, facial or body treatment, please communicate with your therapist; they are your guides to your complete enjoyment of the treatment. If you are too hot or too cold, let them know. If you are uncomfortable with the amount of pressure being exerted during a massage, let them know. This is for you. They want to make it a great experience. Relax. Drink large quantities of water before and after your treatment to gain even greater benefit. Get pampered regularly, it will do your body good. |
